Thanks again to Janet Crowder for hosting Women Underway's April get-together at her 'cottage by the Bay.' Delicious mimosas, pulled pork stew, salads and scrumptious desserts. It was another great opportunity to get to know each other and ask how-to questions. Tiffany, our newest member, did a "show and tell" with a beautiful Turkish bath towel from a vendor at the Spring Boat Show. Tiffany will post a message on this forum and the cruising forum with a link to the towel vendor's website and suggested that if we put together a group order, we might be able to get a group rate on the towels. Tiffany is also compiling an "HHSA Favorites" Bay cruising destination guide based on information from our HHSA members, prior HHSA cruises and other sources and will share that via this and the cruising forums and hopefully a link on the HHSA website.
On May 23rd, Emily will talk about sail trim using Kristin Berry's J/World slides from the March seminar. This is an excellent opportunity if you were not at the March seminar, or to hear about sail trim again (you can never hear enough about sail trim!) and to ask those questions that didn't get asked during Kristin's presentation.
