The first 2019 WU meeting is this Sunday at the Public House in National Harbor.
We request that you register so Bev can notify the restaurant. However, if you forget, you're still welcome to join us.
We plan to talk about Man Overboard techniques, tips and experiences, so bring your knowledge and/or questions. I may even bring a whiteboard which is helpful to picture things. Some topics are:
The different techniques and when to use what
MOB under sail vs. under power
Monohulls vs. Catamarans
Big vs. small boats - differences in boat handling
Experiences and lessons learned
Suggestions on what on-the-water instruction sessions would be helpful
And another one that I have totally forgotten.
Please come - it should be a lively discussion and something we all could learn more about.
