I have Nauti-Paws at HHS. Not racing her this year, but looking to crew for others. I'm a decent sailor, and HS Junior Varsity Sailing coach for several high schools that use the DC Sail facility. I have raced lightnings, lasers, and several keel boats in the Bay and at Charleston Race week. I am decent on the bow (but untrained in spinnakers on anything other than a lightning dingy); decent at sail trim and tactics, but not so amazing that anyone would confuse me for a pro. I don't stink, bring some occasional laughs, and am mostly okay to be around for at least the length of the average race or two.
I'd like to try to get to a few wed night races before I'm out of town for work over most of the summer. Hit me up if you are interested.

Oh yeah, I was also in the Coast Guard for six years, was at sea for over two of those without being tossed overboard or keel-hauled, and was a cutter rescue swimmer - in case any of that helps. In the event a race becomes a pirate affair, I can also forcefully take over another vessel and secure the crew, but let's hope that isn't necessary.
