5 minutes more in better wind helps a lot!
Fun sailing yesterday, and nice to see the fleet finish so close together. I admit we were skeptical about RC's claim of 10 kts on the way. But we were very happy for the spinnaker time!
Interesting.  Hadn't looked.  Still in shock.  Gaia is fast, has a sweet rating, and is well-raced.  Lengthy distance races also help.

Hank,

Congratulations on your win.

Could not help but notice that of all boats, Gaia and Amara had the lowest elapsed time by quite a lot, and Gaia had the best corrected time of all boats, by heaps.

Thanks
Keith
Amara's ending time is incorrect. It should be 37 minutes, not 33.
HHSA Racers,

What an afternoon!  Looked like we wouldn't have enough wind to race, especially if you believed the forecast, but we had enough to start and get out of Herring Bay, then drifted along in mid-Bay for a long while, then the wind filled in for a great second half.  Thanks to Avalon, our RC, who hung in there and got the race off.  Enclosed are the results.  If you have any questions or changes, please let me know.

Cheers,
Hank
