Revised Summer Regatta Results
Author Last Post
If I had a bumper sticker, it would have said "I'd rather be racing."

Thank you and others for your kind words. Bethany and Ted get the credit - they had to deal with the flags and anchor while bouncing around on the bow.

It was great to see 6 boats out there, enthusiastic about getting in 3 races. Thanks to all for coming out.

Our VHF transmission did not seem to be 100% and I apologize to those who did not hear all our announcements (and kudos to Cantata for getting on the radio and telling Jubilee (who did not hear the course change) to turn back to the finish).

Tom, I was crossing my fingers that Spirit would not round up into us. Been there, done that 😀.

Eunice
Special thanks to RC Liberty Prevails who stuck it out with the rest of us in the wind and rain. I am certain that pitching at anchor in 3 footers and rain is not anybody's idea of swell day on the water. Kudos for toughing it out. While it was great fun to race in a Nor'easter, my mind went often to our sailing comrades in the A2N race. What a tough slog they must have had. Prayers for sailors on the sea. But, again Eunice, thanks and sorry if we shaved your transom a little to close on one of those starts. Mary was driving (for all 3 races) and it was my fault, as afterguard, that she was so close to you.

It was a blast. Special thanks to the RC who, I know, had it rough!
HHSA Racers,

I misread Revolution's finish time in Race 3.  However, Revolution's placement in that race did not change.  Enclosed are the revised results for record purposes.

Cheers,
Hank
