There are several women who are interested in crewing for the Women's Regatta:
Beth, 703.220.4973, beth.c.muller@gmail.com has posted here in the forum, perhaps she has found a boat.
Kathy Caplins, 703-209-5155, has contacted me. She used to windsurf, and sailed in college. She crewed on an Annapolis boat recently. She has a friend who is also interested.
Kathy Jacobson, HHSA and WU member, boat owner
Huda, HHSA member and partner of John Schafer, own and race the HHSA boat Velocity. Her friend Loris Sadler would also like to race,
Lauri Albert, HHSA member, s/v Passing Wind - I think is still available.
Some of these women have expressed an interest on helping with RC duty in order to be involved in the event, but they would much prefer to race if possible!
If I have overlooked anyone else who is available to crew I apologize! Please post and let us know you're available!
So, if you're a skipper who is short on crew, please invite one or more of these sailors to join you. Or if anyone has thought about racing their own boat, but may not have crew, you may be able to have a full crew here!
