Need foot pump for tetrahedron
Author Last Post
I can confirm both the foot and 12v pumps are in the locker. We used the 12v pump and hooked it up to my car battery before we left. I can't imagine using the foot pump...that would take forever.

I cancelled my pump order. Now we all know where the foot pump is.

I bought a used foot pump at Bacon’s last season. It is a separate bag in the HHSA locker (both pumps don’t fit easily in the tetrahedron bag, which how the previous foot pump probably got broken). Also, for those whose boat battery locations make using the electric pump difficult, I suggest using your car battery to pump up the tetrahedron on shore.

Matt - good idea to bring both because I'm not even sure there was a 12V in the bag.  I had one on my boat.

I have a 12v pump I will bring, and I have a foot pump for my dinghy, and I'm full of hot air so I'm sure one of the three will suffice. :-)

Michel, last week we found no foot pump in the tetrahedron bag and recall that the pump was on the verge of being, if not already, broken.  We had a 12volt pump if needed but the cord is very short so it would have been difficult.

Can HHSA buy a new foot pump or at least advise RC's that they need to have an inflation method of their own until one can be purchased or donated.

We were able to us the electric pump several weeks ago. The power lines are somewhat short and you will need every bit of the yellow connecting tubing to the tetrahedron. We filled with the tetrahedron on the dock Our batteries are just to the side of the companion way but we had enough room. Will
