Good morning! Looks like it will be a beautiful day of sailing tomorrow. No howling winds or 4 foot waves are predicted.
The Race Committee boat will be ZALEK (green trawler) and we plan to start at "A."
Because sometimes boats don't hear RC transmissions, here is a review of tomorrow’s start:
1. We will have two (2) starts – combined Spin and combined Non-Spin.
2. Four (4) classes will be scored – Spin A, Spin B, Non-Spin/Racing, and Non-Spin/Cruising
3. 1055 – Spin Warning, 1100 – Spin Start
4. 1100 – Non-Spin Warning, 1105 – Non-Spin Warning
5. If we need to delay the start (AP flag will be raised), we will reschedule the new warning on the 5’s or 10’s (e.g., 1115, 1120)
6. If you retire, please text Eunice at (703) 336-7075 AND Michel at (301) 536-8040. Chances are good we won’t hear you on the radio.
7. Zalek will head back to HH NORTH after an appropriate amount of time of socializing/dinner. If you or any crew want a ride back, let me know before we leave Pirate’s Cove. It will take approximately 2-3 hours.
