West River Race
This is a 13-mile West River Race from Herring Bay to Galesville. The race starts at 83A and ends in Galesville off the Pirate’s Cove tower. Boats and crews overnight at Pirate’s Cove for dinner, cocktails, breakfast, and more. See the 2024 Sailing Instructions for details (to be published in March).
Note: HHSA members can race in the West River Race without paying the Racing Fee. Come and try racing!

We will gather for a celebration, race results and cruising stories at 6:00 pm on the dock. On Sunday morning at 9:00am, we will have a potluck brunch on the dock. Bring a dish, a drink, and a good morning. Afterwards, we will be heading back to Herring Bay at your leisure.
West River is always a fun HHSA event. See you there.
