We hope you will join us this weekend, as we try to deliver those painkillers we owe you! We will sail to Dun Cove, an "oldie but goodie" anchorage, off Harris Creek, off the Choptank. This is a pretty and protected spot, with good holding and plenty of room to anchor in 8-10 feet of water. After rounding Black Walnut point, head north to Harris Creek. Follow the marks, and be aware of the narrowing of the channel between marks 4 and 5. There is deep water mid-channel, just give those marks a wide berth. The entrance to Dun Cove then lies to port, about halfway between marks 6 and 7. Approach in the center of the opening.

 

Happy Hour will be at 5 pm on Eclipse. Please bring an appetizer to share, and painkillers will be on offer. We'll miss you if you're not there! Let's enjoy some wonderful fall sailing on the Bay.
