Ahoy, Sailors!
The Downtown Sailing Center cordially invites you to join us on Saturday, October 2nd, for the "Ya Gotta Regatta!"
The Ya Gotta Regatta includes a fun PHRF Pursuit (distance) race, One Design Racing in our DSC J/22s, youth sailing, and adaptive racing for people with disabilities in our Hansa-Access Dinghies. We are also hoping to celebrate after the event wraps up, too, if the pandemic allows. The NOR, SIs, and event information will be forthcoming in a few weeks.
Last year, we had roughly 30 PHRF entries; 10 J/22s raced in our one-design regatta; 10 Hansa-Access racers competed, including brand new sailors; and our Siebel Sailors celebrated their inaugural regatta... plus, our community raised over $75,000 for community programs like our CIT, Siebel Sailors, and Adaptive Sailing programs.
