Just looked at it, you are right. You need to start to get that point.


Please do update the rev (or upload it), that makes it easier to track the calcs at the end of the year.

Not quite.  Upon checking the high point rules, a boat that did not start does not get one point.  There were several boats that were DNS that I gave a point to in the results.  I've fixed it but won't bother with a rev, just make it right in the High Point spreadsheet.  That is:  unless otherwise directed......

I believe you got it right:


A boat that came to the starting area but did not start (DNS/OCS), did not sail the

course (NSC), did not finish (DNF), retired (RET) or was disqualified (DSQ) shall be

scored points for the finishing place one more than the number of boats that came to

the starting area

HHSA Racers,

As the Race Committee reported in the preliminary results, it was a breezy night on the Bay.  In spite of the conditions we had a good turnout of racers.  The RC did a great job getting the race off because of his difficulties holding the start line.  Enclosed are the results.  They differ from the preliminaries in the places assigned to the non-finishing (RET) and non-starting (DNS) boats in the two non-spin classes.  The order of finish for the three classes did NOT change.  We probably need to discuss this off-line.
