Series 1, Race 6 Results and Series 1 Summary

Have a safe passage. Back. Hope the confused seas calm down and you can run some Spinnaker back from Bermuda.

The shorthanded pts for Race 6 should be 1.5 if there is only 1 boat. I emailed Bob to see if he raced shorthanded, so I bet he is ok with that since he didn't declare it to the RC.

It would be great to get a running total of year to date high points, especially since there were issues with qualified races and such. Better to validate now than at the end of the year.

And thank Jim for taking on this new role!

Lots of weather was forecast for Wednesday but what we actually had was near perfect. Thank you to Kent Kunze and Glissade for being RC for the night.

Another thank you to Jim Bradshaw (Blew Bayou II) for putting together today's score sheet and the Series 1 Results. Jim will be taking over scoring next week while I am helping with bringing Cimmaron back from Bermuda. Jim has been helping behind the scenes with a few other members of the Competition Committee to smooth out the scoring process. He may be stuck with it now.

Series 1 was very eventful with a lot of asterisks. Not your usual start for a racing season but Wednesday's continues to be the the best day of my week.

Cheers,

Mark
