West River Race

Racers

The race to West River is near. Amara will handle RC responsibilities. For those who plan on participating, please register on the website so we can prepare the entry sheet which is always special for this event as it includes other clubs.

Thanks

Michel

Michel

Here we are a few days away, and I have 7 registrations for the West River Race this weekend. The HHSA boat I recognize are:

Revolution

Firth of Tay

Happy Place

Blew Bayou

Am I missing anyone?

I understand that 3 cruisers are planning on going up to mingle with the racing community.

So far I didn't have much luck with our friend clubs either with only one registrant. I will keep you posted as I get more information.

Please register and let me know if you intend to race.

Thanks

Michel

Firth of Tay will be anchoring out somewhere in the West River, or Rhode River.

Bruce Trauben

Put-in-Bay is planning on racing and needs a slip for the night.

Michel

Also give me length, draft and power requirement

Bruce Trauben

Put-in-Bay is 30’ long and about 10’6” at the beam, with a draft of about 4’5”. Electricity is 30 Amp. Do We need to make a reservation directly with the dock master? Thanks! Bruce

I am behind the curve as well, but our Commodore is not. He has been handling reservations that will likely be at hartge.

Michel

Attached is the Entry List I have as of now. It is also posted on the Racing Page. Let me know if anything is incorrect.

See you tomorrow at HHSA A!

Michel

Happy Place is Spin B.

Nice breakdownd between the classes, 16 entries, not too shabby

Andrea18
Michel,
Please note that DIVA II is cancelling participation in the race. Not sure if you received that message earlier today.
Have fun!
Andrea

Michel
No I didn't. Thanks for letting me know.

Jason Fox

Fine tuned has retired. Too many flies.

Fine tuned has retired. Too many flies.

Peter Dezendorf

You too??!!

I retired due to heat and lack of wind. But the flies and gnats added greatly to the decision.
