Join cruise host Paula Grenier in sailing to Oxford, MD with fellow HHSA members over Memorial Day Weekend.  Plan to dock for the night on Saturday at what is now called Safe Harbor Marina (formerly Mears). Gather at the marina Saturday evening for a happy hour gathering.  Note the marina also has a pool. While in Oxford, folks can walk the quaint downtown, and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Ice cream at Scottish Highland Creamery is a must!

Those interested can sail onward on Sunday to Trippe Creek, a lovely spot farther up the Tred Avon River, to anchor out Sunday night.  Return to Herring Bay on Monday.

This is a great “toe dipper” cruise for newer cruisers.  Oxford is only about 20 nm from Herring Bay.  To access the Choptank River, consider going through the Knapps Narrows channel, which is quite fun, although it can be shallow, or sail past Sharps Island Light for a longer, but scenic route.
