The goal of this cruise is get our boats into the Atlantic Ocean for a day, which means sailing south. How you get there, how you return, or how long it takes you is up to you.

Meet in Cape Charles for an evening social (specific date and location to be determined as the cruise week nears), sail into the Atlantic and back (destination dependent on winds), and return to Cape Charles for the night. Make your way home the next day.

This cruise allows for an opportunity to leisurely see the sights on the way down or back (Tangier, Onacock, Solomons Island), practice longer passages and overnight sailing, or both, or something different. It should be great preparation for a Delmarva rounding (2023, anyone?), and a great interim adventure in a longer southern bay cruise. We are calling it a pursuit cruise because the goal is to meet in Cape Charles.  You'll need to plan your adventure accordingly.  

A pre cruise skippers meeting will be held on Zoom the week before.
