Reposting the Race 2 results to reflect the updated PHRF rating and corrected time for Resilient. No other changes were made.

Have a great weekend!

Jim

Painfully, I was there for the real thing. The memory is not fading. 😭

Lol, I doubt it does - I was trying to help Mark feel better about his start.

Jim,

I don't know if the orientation of RC boat vs buoy at the starting line changes any of the analytics. Either way, I have flipped the start line around so the RC boat is on the east end and the buoy on the west end of the start line.

Jim

Is the starting line entered correctly?  It is at least backwards.

I still need to post my track

Edit: sorry meant to reply to Mark directly 🤣

This did not make Happy Place's start look better.

Thanks Eunice. We are following up with Hutch.

Cheers,

Mark

I think that Resilient's rating is wrong.  I think it should be 183 because Kevin is sailing with the class jib, not the 155 genoa.  The rating of 174 assumes the bigger headsail.  There is a 9 second difference.

Eunice

Racers,

Tonight we had 14 boats that came out to race. The rain stayed away and the wind remained steady enough to get all of the boats across the finish line well before 8pm. Thanks to Jeff Bowen and his crew from Viko30 for running the race and for changing to the shorter course (D) before we entered the sequence.

Also note - we had three short-handed boats racing tonight.

Preliminary results are attached.

Jim
