The 2024 Maryland Cures Cancer Regatta on Saturday brought 4 of our racers to the line for a beautiful upwind battle. With lots of wind and changing currents to play with, the competitors traded positions several times for an early afternoon finish at R2 in Annapolis. Results are below.
HHSA has supported this race for several years by providing a start boat here in Herring Bay (Thanks Amara!). Because of the busy schedule early in the racing season, we have tended to not give the race the promotion it deserves. This year, the 4 competitors are looking at creating a committee to help promote the 2025 Maryland Cures Cancer Regatta. If you would like to help the committee, let us know.
