Given the weather forecast, is it useful to make a roll call to see how many boats we are planning to have.
Knot Home is in.
But in searching for my crew for tonight, I understand Lyonness and Havoc are not racing.
Have a good safe race.

Firth of Tay will be remaining in her slip.
REVOLUTION not racing until likely fall/frostbite.

Confirming what Eunice is seeing - in North Beach we are getting big waves and strong winds. Predictions are for the wind to build until 6 or 7 pm.
Blew Bayou II is currently planning to race.

Oh good we haven't used our second reef in a few weeks and I didn't want to get rusty. Unlike every piece of metal on deck after two weeks at sea 🤣
Realistically with this forecast I don't see us getting a race in, but unless it's cancelled we'll be there.
Hawkeye is planning on being out there. Will make the go-no go on racing closer to the start time.

Blue Dolphin is undecided. The call for numerous thunderstorms concerns me.
Hey HHSA, this is Merideth and I’m RC tonight. The current conditions make it unlikely that we’ll race tonight, but I’ll wait to make the official call until 1600. I started a new thread on this but will update this one as well.
Cheers,
Merideth
Kaya won't be racing tonight.
Tonight’s race has been cancelled due to high winds. We’ll see you next week!

Blue Dolphin has decided not to race due to the severe thunderstorm watch.
