Tranquilo and crew were ready to go, but had an equipment failure before we could even check in. Sadly we had to return to the marina.

Two follow-up notes:

First, only ten boats came out to race on a gorgeous June evening; warm, sunny, long daylight, and excellent wind for racing. Where are the rest of you?

Second, lesson learned. Our scorer Jim Bradshaw has a new cell phone number 443-616-8708. It is included in the 2025 RC manual, but since I already had his number in my phone I glossed over that and texted the race results to his old number. A reminder for future RCs.

Maya is the race committee for tonight's race. Following four weeks (five if you count the practice race) of poor weather tonight's weather looks great for racing; sunny, warm, low-to-mid teens wind from the SSE. I'm hoping for a great turnout!

Maya will likely set up the start near HHSA B.

A reminder that there are only two starts; combined racing classes start first; combined cruising classes start second. Boats are encouraged to fly their class flags to make it easier to recognize your competitors.

Crews are encouraged to gather at Skipper's Pier for post-race celebration.
