Storms and Racing today
Beth Muller

Race committee (Fine Tuned I believe) it’s looking stormy here near HHS. What is your read on the weather and its possible impact on today’s race? Beth

REVOLUTION signed up for RC for today. As a result, I put my sails in the loft for some repairs.

I am about to head to the locker to get the gear.

Forecast is storms will have passed. Questionable for wind.

Knot Home crew is headed to the marina planning to race. The winds look to be out of the SW after the front. Doug - Maybe one consideration that allows boats more flexibility on when they leave the marina is to plan for a downwind start near HHSA-A reducing time to get to race course.

Take care

Ok, REVOLUTION got the handoff for RC!

We’ve done DW starts before so I get it! We will look at what’s out there when we get there and the update radar with weather forecasts.

Cheers!

FT was RC on Saturday… all good!

We were thinking we might race today… but this storm is supposed to suck all the wind out of the bay…. But we might see you out there anyway…drifting…

Drifting? Drifting? What is the problem with drifting? Firth of Tay can do that for hours!

Didn't bring the big camera today since it was my second time on Knot Home, but still got some fantastic pics of everyone else under the gorgeous hour-long rainbow!
