I have transferred the shotgun to its new owner.

Ted

I own the shotgun, which I purchased in 2007, since it wasn't clear what (if?) there was a process for club ownership. I have no personal need for it. If HHSA no longer does, I am willing to sell it to someone who can use it for the cost of the transfer. It is due for a major overhaul. It has never fired anything but black powder blanks.

Contact me if interested. I'm not sure of the transfer process having never sold a firearm, but assume it must be done through a licensed dealer.

Hi folks:

We have a new noise maker in the Race Committee kit. It is an electric horn built by our own Kevin Hutchinson. The new air horn replaces the other air horns and shotgun.

The shotgun has been a source of safety concerns for a while. I've seen or heard about more than a few incidents where the shotgun is pointed in the wrong direction (toward and near people), hearing injuries, some burns, and other close calls. Many people who come out for RC do not have proper firearm training so it's not surprising.

There may be a couple of shells left but we will not be purchasing anymore. Have a blast with the Hutch Horn!

Cheers,

Mark
