A2B 2026 - Need Mentorship or advice
Author Last Post

I Registered for both! We leave tomorrow morning for Harbor Cup, staying the night on the hook in the Magothy.

I hope we don't crash at the Start line, I'm nervous as shit!

A2B just published their prep your boat/safety seminar on Nov 15, so check it out:

https://www.bermudaoceanrace.com/safety-seminar

There is also an HHSA social on the calendar with participation from A2B so everyone is invited to come and learn more about (Friday October 24, at the Gedunk @ HHN). Free but registration required.

PS. I may be biased but I sail with Bert (I even married him!) and he's an AMAZING sailor ;)

Ok! I'm going up to EYC tonight! Get my feet wet per se and take a health check on the idea.

Hi Jason

Jayne and I plan to be at tonight’s A2B Happy Hour. I hope you can make it. I would love to chat. We just bought A Jeanneau 469.

The race organizer, Bert Bossar, is also a member and a successful competitor. Other great member contacts are Lynn McClaskey, Russ Matajevic and Kevin Sherwood (as well as Doug who has already messaged). If you are not already signed up come to the A2B happy hour tonight! Check the A2B website.

I be happy to help.

Ahoy HHSA! I am considering entering for the June 2026 A2B aboard our 2017 Jeanneau SO479. I was watching a Video from the last A2B and they mentioned some HHSA folks garnered the Storm Trysail Club Trophy.

Is there anyone on here who can chat with me about the process?

Many thanks!
