About this event
The race description is in the Sailing Instructions. Amara is the RC for the race. They will start the race in Herring Bay then drive up to Pirate’s Cove to handle the finish. Racers should radio in to let them know you about to finish. If you would like to help with the finish, contact Michel at jichgag@aol.com. It’s great fun to watch the finish.
Note: HHSA members can race in the West River Race without paying the Racing Fee. Come and try racing!
For slips, please call Pat the dockmaster on 301-928-6605 to book (tell them you are part of the HHSA event).
We will gather for a celebration, race results and cruising stories at 6:00 pm on the dock. On Sunday morning at 9:00am, we will have a potluck brunch on the dock. Bring a dish, a drink, and a good morning. Afterwards, we will be heading back to Herring Bay at your leisure.
West River is always a fun HHSA event. See you there.
