Just alerting everyone to Rosemary Byrd's posting under topic "August WU Meeting" where she invited anyone in MD to see MAIDEN tonight and also we'll be discussing the book/movie in August.
Dale and I saw it last Friday and agree - it's inspiring and a gripping tale about what can be accomplished by "girls." Redefined the concept of "heeling too much" for me!

Thank you, Pat, for pointing out it’s at cinema arts.... will be easier to see it there.
Sounds. Great!

Just saw this documentary film at Cinema Arts Theater in Fairfax. A fabulous movie on so many levels. Inspiring story about the first All-women crew to enter Whitbread (1989) against great odds. A must see for both women and men sailors. PatMcCallum
