Racing Discussions

Thanks for being RC last night John (and Kaya crew)!!! It was perfect conditions for a Wednesday night race...though I'd prefer it to be about 10 degrees warmer and sunnier.

We had a great time...despite having the jib halyard snap within the first minute of the race! Never a dull moment! Looking forward to seeing the results.

Kaya is providing RC services tonight (Thank you John).

All slots for RC through July 20, Series 2 Race 6 have been filled. Due to the number of on the water racers, the second half of the season will probably need a second turn for everyone. Feel free to schedule your 2nd slot right away.

FYI: A guest boat has asked to race tonight. He is Phyxius and it is a Bavaria 34. I asked him to start with the NS Cruisers. He is new to racing and sent him instruction and information about the race telling him to read the Docs, stay out of the box, and not hit anyone. He is not a member yet.

Do we have RC for Wed. night?

What do we do if nobody signs up? In the past, RC - Racing has stepped up but Mark doesn't have a boat.

So, what is the solution?? Do we race?
